Roofing Services We Provide
1. New Pitched Roof or Flat Roof
Complete new-build, re-roofing and extension roofs in both pitched and flat configurations. Structural sarking, breathable membranes, battening and coverings installed to current building regulations.
2. Replacement of Tiles and Slates
Like-for-like slate and tile replacement on heritage and period properties, plus full re-coverings where the existing roof has reached the end of its life. Matching profiles and colours sourced for sensitive elevations.
3. uPVC Guttering, Fascia, Soffits and Downpipes
Supply and installation of uPVC fascia boards, soffits, guttering and downpipes. Repairs to existing rainwater goods, plus full replacement programmes for blocks and estates.
4. Chimney Repairs and Leadwork
Chimney stack rebuilds, flaunching, repointing, capping and full lead-flashing and step-flashing renewal. Bird guards, cowls and pots replaced as part of stack works.
5. Adding New Hatches
Forming new access hatches into roof voids and lofts, including timber framing, insulated trimmers and weather-tight finishes for safe maintenance access.
6. Flat Roofing
Flat-roof installation, repair and refurbishment using Proteus-approved waterproofing systems. Single-ply, liquid-applied and felt build-up coverings for townhouse extensions, mansard refurbishments and commercial podium decks.
7. New Installation
Full pitched and flat roof installations on new-build, loft-conversion and re-roofing programmes. Slate, tile and metal coverings supplied and fitted by our in-house roofing team, with proper lead detailing and breathable membrane build-ups.
8. Maintenance
Planned and reactive roof maintenance, leak repair, gutter and parapet works, lead-flashing renewal and annual inspection programmes for managing agents, residents' associations and commercial portfolios.
Specialist Roofing Division
Our roofing teams are directly employed and work to the same standard whether the job is a single chimney repair or a full estate re-roof. Each project is led by an experienced site supervisor, with scaffolding, edge protection and waste management coordinated in-house.
Workmanship and Standards
We work to British Standard BS 5534 for slating and tiling and BS 8000 for general workmanship. Site protection, dust control and resident liaison are planned in advance for occupied properties, and every roofing project finishes with a written handover including warranties on the coverings installed.
